Rambles, Rambles, and More Rambles

I was thinking of dying my hair, but decided not to. I figure that I might as well embrace the gray, I mean I've been doing it for years now. My hair doesn't look that bad the color it is anyway. The gray blends in well with the blond. I was also thinking about when the roots start growing out, I don't want to have to keep dying it just to hide the gray; been there, done that.

For those who tell you that you can't lose weight after you reach a certain age, don't believe them, it just isn't true. Yes it may be more difficult, but it can still be done. Getting into shape too, it can be done too.

Oh, I didn't tell you, Dave's project was approved! I am so thrilled for him. That's why we had to go to Indy and why he had a meeting there. One of the senior partners said that he was very impressed with his presentation. Every day he impresses me as to how intelligent he is. He has turned out to be such a good husband. I'm lucky to have found him. Thank you Eric. If you want, I'll tell you the story later, but if it weren't for him, Dave and I never would have met.

A commercial for Vision for Less just reminded me that I need to make an appointment for an eye exam. I want to get a new pair of frames anyway. I never did like these ones. I need to have my hearing checked too, I've noticed that it's gotten worse. I can barely understand people when they speak unless they are in the same room and it's a very small room. No one else knows except Dave and the kids.

Max is shaking his paw in his sleep. I wonder what he's dreaming about. :)

This morning I was scolding Rolli and she started giving me her "poor little puppy" look, you know the one, where she looks at you with those big brown "puppy dog" eyes, she's a pro at that look and it cracks me up every time. I can never stay mad at her for very long.

It's actually not as hot as it has been all week. It's still hot, but not as hot as it was before. All this week it's been in the high 90s and even hit 100 in a couple places. Today it got up to only 93. I know, only, but it feels better than 98 with heat indexes of 105 to 115. The ponies have been staying in the stable where it's a little cooler. They also have plenty of water.

I think I've done enough rambling for one day, so I will spare you guys any more. Try to stay cool out there.
